# Safer Streets, Better Broomfield

We believe everyone deserves to have a safe, comfortable, and convenient trip to their destination.  We envision a stronger, more resilient community through changes that make transportation more equitable.

#### Community Led to Create Community Impact

Founded in 2019 as Broomfield’s first bicycle advocacy group, Safer Streets Better Broomfield expanded its mission to all transportation and transportation-adjacent topics such as our city’s built environment, land use & housing, municipal fiscal health, and sustainability.

We celebrate what we have today in Broomfield: the high quality of life buoyed by amenities such as open space, multi-use paths, and locally owned businesses. And we push for more of them, so that for future generations, Broomfield will continue to be a place worth caring about.

## Support Low-Impact Transportation

We bring together community members with events that serve people using low-impact transportation, and by fiercely advocating for better city design that enables safe, sustainable, practical, and equitable transportation in Broomfield.
